Delete your YesTonight account

This page is for the YesTonight app by Impact Consulting AI, on Google Play and on the web at yestonight.app. You can delete your account and all your data yourself, in the app, in under a minute.

Delete it in the app

• Open YesTonight and tap Settings.
• Open Privacy & Account.
• Tap Delete all my data (it is under Danger zone).
• Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete forever.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

What is deleted

• Your nightly answers, notes and tags.
• Your profile, your settings and your login.
• Any pairing codes you made.
• Your push subscriptions, if you turned them on.
• Your pairing. It ends for your partner too, and the shared history is deleted. Your partner is told the pairing has ended, not who ended it.

What is kept

• Messages you sent through the Contact form are kept without your name or email attached.
• If you bought the optional Supporter unlock on the website, Stripe, our payment provider, may keep its own record of the payment as the law requires. We do not hold your card details.

Can't get into the app?

If you can't sign in, ask us to delete your account instead. Email info@impactconsulting.ai from the address you signed up with, or use the Contact page at yestonight.app/contact and choose the deletion request. Say that you want your YesTonight account deleted. We confirm it is you by replying to that address, delete the account, and write back within 14 days.

Just want to stop for now?

You can end your pairing without deleting your account: Settings, then Privacy & Account, then End pairing. Your answers for that pairing are deleted at once.
